From July 1, 2024, there will be adjustments to the so-called system. Register of excluded persons. This is used to preventing access to gambling by persons who should not participate in gambling – whether by decision of the state, court or at your own request.

There are two ways to register:
Ex officio – automatically, without the person's request.
At the request of an individual – voluntary registration as a form of self-protection.
The following are entered into the register, for example:
persons receiving material need benefits (except one-time assistance),
persons living in the same household as the above-mentioned,
persons with a deposit ban on playing or by judicial measure,
persons who does not pay alimony for a child for whom the state pays replacement maintenance,
persons in insolvency (bankruptcy),
persons who voluntarily requested for registration in the register.
From 1. 1. 2027 there will also be more people in execution.
name, surname and identification data of the natural person,
date of registration,
reason for registration,
the date on which the reason for registration arose,
the date on which the reason ceased to exist (e.g. resolution of insolvency).
Registered persons the operator must not gambling games to enable:
entrance to the gaming areas,
creating a player account,
betting or investing money in games,
depositing money into a player's account.
Exception: Entry into the gaming area is only permitted for work or in emergency situations (e.g. life-saving).
Signing up for the application is simple and free. Just fill out the form and submit it:
by mail (with officially certified signature),
personal data box (must be non-public, non-commercial),
by email with a recognized electronic signature,
personally to the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic's registry office or directly to an authorized employee of the ministry.
After registration, the so-called protection period – 1 year, during which erasure cannot be requested.
You can request deletion:
if you signed up voluntarily and it has passed since registration at least 1 year,
if the reason for registration has ceased to exist (e.g. termination of insolvency or disappearance of a court order).
The application can be submitted in the same way as the registration. The Ministry must decide within 30 days.
If you do not want to be automatically able to submit a request for deletion after a year (e.g. because it might tempt you), you can extend or renew the protection period:
Extension: you request it before the current deadline expires. The new one will be valid from the end of the original one - without interruption.
Recovery: You can only apply after the deadline has expired. The new one will start to apply from the date of renewal – a gap will be created.
In both cases, the period again lasts 1 year.
Same form, no need to indicate whether it is an extension or renewal - the Ministry will determine that itself.
