The Register of Persons Excluded from Gambling (RVO) \u2013 how does it work from July 1, 2024?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From July 1, 2024, there will be adjustments to the so-called system. Register of excluded persons<\/strong>. This is used to preventing access to gambling by persons who should not participate in gambling<\/strong> \u2013 whether by decision of the state, court or at your own request.<\/p>

The index is non-public public administration information system<\/strong>The administrator is Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic<\/strong>It is mainly used by gambling operators to verify who is allowed to play and who is not.<\/p>

Who can be registered with the RVO?<\/strong><\/h3>

There are two ways to register:<\/p>

  1. Ex officio<\/strong> \u2013 automatically, without the person's request.<\/p><\/li>

  2. At the request of an individual<\/strong> \u2013 voluntary registration as a form of self-protection.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
